LAMILUX AntiBac
LAMILUX AntiBac is a gelcoat variant with a self-disinfecting effect that kills more than 99.9% of all bacteria, including multi-resistant germs, within 24 hours. This impressive level of effectiveness is achieved by incorporating microsilver, with which silver ions fight bacteria in three ways and thus ensure continuous disinfection of the entire wall surface, even in hard-to-reach areas.
HACCP certification
LAMILUX wall and ceiling cladding is certified for use in companies that work according to a HACCP-based food safety programme. The cladding, which is tested by HACCP International, is considered suitable for use in splash or spill zones (SSZ). Some selected variants of the product are also suitable for occasional, short-term or intended permanent food contact.

Installation
Quick and easy installation for both new construction and renovations

Cut the FRP panel to size
The FRP panel can be cut quickly and easily on site to fit the specific conditions.

Apply the adhesive
Use a serrated trowel to apply the adhesive in an irregular pattern over the entire back of the FRP panel.

Align the panel on the wall
Apply the FRP panel to the wall with light pressure. Make sure there is sufficient space for expansion and contraction.

Remove any air pockets
Use a pressure roller to remove all air pockets by working from the centre of the panel towards the edges.

Attach the profile
Fit the profile between the panels and the ends, leaving a gap of at least around 3 mm for expansion between the panel and profile system.

Continue with the next panel
If possible, start in an inside corner of the room and use a plumb line, especially for aligning the first panel.
It is best to affix LAMILUX FRP wall cladding to the wall using full-surface direct bonding. The substrate to which the FRP panels is installed plays a very minor role. For a particularly attractive result, LAMILUX recommends a smooth and even substrate such as plasterboard, OSB boards, MDF boards, chipboard, gypsum fibre boards, tiles, concrete, aluminium, steel, cement or plaster. Depending on the substrate, the choice of the right adhesive may vary or a primer may be required. Please contact your LAMILUX representative for specific advice.
