LAMILUX FireShield®
Flame retardant surfaces
The LAMILUX FireShield® product family includes solutions for a wide range of flame retardant requirements in construction as well as for transport by land, sea and air. Thanks to different reinforcements and different resin systems, LAMILUX FireShield® can be configured to meet flame retardant requirements and a wide range of requirements in terms of mechanics, appearance, hygiene and functionality.
Versions
LAMILUX FireShield® can be ordered in the following versions
LAMILUX FireShield® 600 is available
- In thicknesses 1.0 mm, 1.5 mm, 2.0 mm, other thicknesses on request
- In widths up to 3.20 m
- As sheets or coils
- With woven roving reinforcement
- As semi-translucent undyed laminate for invisible construction applications
- With different treatments on the back surface (smooth, corona, or soft sanded), on request
Specific product advantages
- Fulfilment of complex flame retardant requirements combined with mechanical performance and further advantages of fibre-reinforced plastics
- Halogen-free flame retardant products, exceeds the requirements of Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 (REACH)
- Flame retardant configuration based on requirements for B-s1,d0 (DIN EN 13501-1), Class 1 (BS 476, Pt. 7), HL3 (DIN EN 45545-2 R10)

LAMILUX FireShield® 610 is available
- In 1.8 mm, 2.2 mm, 3.0 mm thicknesses and with woven roving reinforcement (Gewebe) in 2.0 mm thickness
- In widths up to 3.20 m
- As sheets or coils
- With woven roving or CSM reinforcement
- With gelcoat surface for hygiene and optimal cleanability, as well as highest resistance to UV rays and weathering
- With antibacterial "AntiBac" effect on request
- With gelcoat in different colours: RAL, NCS scale and customer-specific
- With different treatments on the back surface (smooth, corona, or soft sanded), on request
Specific product advantages
- Fulfilment of complex flame retardant requirements combined with mechanical performance and further advantages of fibre-reinforced plastics
- Halogen-free flame retardant products, exceeds the requirements of Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 (REACH)
- Flame retardant configuration based on requirements for D-s2,d0 (DIN EN 13501-1), reduced fire load compared to non-flame retardant laminates combined with established gelcoat system

- In 1.8 mm, 2.2 mm, 3.0 mm thicknesses and with woven roving reinforcement (Gewebe) in 2.0 mm thickness

- With woven roving or CSM reinforcement
- With gelcoat surface for hygiene and optimal cleanability, as well as high resistance to UV rays and weathering
- With antibacterial "AntiBac" effect on request
- With gelcoat in various white and grey colours: RAL, NCS scale and customer-specific
- With different treatments on the back surface (smooth, corona, or soft sanded), on request
