Residential building, Korneuburg (Austria)

Six daylight elements from LAMILUX were installed in the new construction of a residential building. The five 100 x 300 cm Comfort Swing Flat Roof Access Hatches in the living rooms of the flats are a visual highlight and ensure a bright, light-flooded atmosphere and natural ventilation of the room. The award-winning design is not only a visual eye-catcher, but also stands out thanks to its functionality. The Flat Roof Access Hatch Comfort Swing can be opened to an opening angle of 84° in 25 seconds, providing convenient access to the roof terrace without taking up too much space. The living area is complemented by an F100 Glass Skylight, the first flat roof window in "structural glazing" design to be approved by the building authorities. This allows additional daylight into the interior, creating a holistic feel-good atmosphere. The Glass Skylight F100 guarantees a permanently clear view and a generous incidence of light - the smooth transition between the glazing and the frame profile allows rainwater to run off unhindered and avoids dirty edges.
