The jury courtroom on the first floor was given 24 new Glass Skylights, each weighing 210 kg. These replace the old plastic rooflights, which had become porous due to UV radiation and weathering. The aluminium surrounds were also replaced. A total of 18 skylights will also be replaced in the corridors and in the Presidential Chancellery. This modernisation significantly improves sound insulation, energy efficiency and light transmission and creates a bright and pleasant atmosphere in the room.
