For the new construction of the Unglehrt construction company's production hall, particular attention was paid to uniform and abundant daylight illumination. To achieve this goal, the decision was made to use LAMILUX Rooflight F100 W and LAMILUX Continuous Rooflights B.

An innovative concept was utilised for the new production hall of Unglehrt GmbH & Co. KG. Where modern daylight systems from LAMILUX create an ideal balance between uniform illumination, energy efficiency and safety - for optimum working conditions and sustainable longevity.

Durable design thanks to wave shape

A total of five LAMILUX Rooflights F100 W were installed in the production hall, three of which function for natural daylight and two for smoke ventilation. These skylight domes, each measuring 180 x 240 cm, are fitted with a fall-through grille that provides additional safety. The LAMILUX Rooflight F100 W is known for its high stability and optimum load distribution thanks to its wave shape, which ensures a durable solution that can withstand extreme weather conditions.

Large-area Continuous Rooflights for optimum brightness and safety

In addition to the skylight domes, 11 LAMILUX Continuous Rooflights B with fall-through grids and safety strips were integrated into the hall ceiling. The Continuous Rooflights have a length of 5 to 15 metres and a width of 3.5 metres, which enables a large-area daylight supply. These strip lights have an arched design and provide excellent light diffusion across the entire production area. This improves the working atmosphere and ensures the well-being of employees.

Integrated fire protection

Another important feature is the integration of seven smoke and heat extraction devices (SHEV) in the Continuous Rooflights, which significantly improve the hall's fire protection. In the event of a fire, these SHEV units ensure that smoke and heat are dissipated quickly, which increases the safety of employees and minimises damage.
