Zaltech is an international manufacturer of spice blends for the food industry and specialises in the meat processing industry. With an export share of over 99%, the company supplies customers in more than 40 countries worldwide. At its headquarters in Moosdorf, Austria, Zaltech favours modern, sustainable architecture that combines closeness to nature and cultural openness. Nestled in an idyllic landscape between mountains and moorland, the site symbolises the company's international aspirations and values. The LAMILUX Glass Roof PR60 was the ideal solution for creating an open and inviting atmosphere.

Customised daylight solutions for curved architecture
The curved shapes of some of the corridors and rooms posed particular challenges in terms of daylight planning. LAMILUX supplied customised solutions for this: Nine Glass Skylights F100 in various sizes and 25 Glas Skylights FE Circular with diameters of up to 120 centimetres. This combination of rectangular and round daylight elements blends harmoniously into the architectural design and provides elegant lighting accents that create a pleasant atmosphere.

Daylight elements with ventilation and safety functions
The daylight elements not only offer visual benefits, but also excellent energy values. Some of the Glass Skylights installed are also equipped with ventilation functions or act as smoke and heat extractors (SHEV) to increase safety in work areas. The Glass Skylights F100 also have an integrated roof access function, which was developed using offset fittings. This makes the daylight systems real all-rounders, combining aesthetics with function.
