In Eschbach in southern Baden, the Kompetenzzentrum Breisgau is a pioneering new building - with a large LAMILUX Glass Roof PR60. It covers the central atrium of the building and creates a light-flooded sense of space that promotes dialogue, encounters and well-being.

The Kompetenzzentrum Breisgau combines modern office units, co-working spaces, seminar and event areas as well as a restaurant with a roof terrace - all in a well thought-out architectural concept that focuses on encounters and communication. Situated between the Black Forest, Alsace and nearby Switzerland, the Kompetenzzentrum combines a peaceful, natural environment with international accessibility. The location close to Freiburg and the direct connection to public transport make the site attractive for companies from the region - and beyond. The atrium not only forms the architectural centre, but also the emotional core of the building. To create a bright, natural atmosphere here, the LAMILUX Glass Roof PR60 was chosen. The generous glazing brings daylight deep into the interior of the building and thus ensures a pleasant indoor climate - regardless of the season or weather. At the same time, the imposing roof glazing maintains a visual connection to nature.
