The Glass Construction is also equipped with eight smoke and heat extraction systems (SHEVS), which use pneumatic cylinders to ensure rapid smoke extraction in the event of a fire. The system is supplemented by a wind and rain sensor set that reacts automatically to changes in the weather and closes the roof vents in the event of rain or strong winds. This protects the indoor climate and efficiently controls water drainage.
